First-Time Manager Readiness Assessment Workbook

The First-Time Manager Readiness Assessment Workbook judges one named individual contributor against the first manager level (M1) so you can make the IC-to-manager crossover decision on evidence instead of instinct. You rate each management competency against the M1 expectation, write down the evidence behind every rating, and the workbook ranks the gaps and returns a completeness-gated verdict — 'Not yet assessed — N of M ratings missing' until you finish, then 'ready' or 'not yet — N gaps'. Competency names, definitions, importance values and behavioral anchors are cited O*NET; the M1 expectation profile, proficiency scale and readiness thresholds are a DESIGN you adapt, not data we assert.
